Some of you may be wondering who is Sonata Elise™ and why did I name a girls clothing brand this name in the first place? Well, Sonata Elise™ is actually the special person who inspired my business in the first place! She’s my one and only daughter!
I used to sew and alter clothing by hand for myself in high school because I was always the weird one trying to be original :D. When I had my sons I would hand sew their Halloween costumes, but when Sonata came along I decided to learn how to use a sewing machine!
After learning how to use one I was hooked! I loved it so much that I wanted to do it non stop! I enjoyed the entire process of imagining a design, drawing it, then making my designs come to life. It was almost magical!

Before offering my skills to the public I only made headbands and hair bows for little girls under the former business name One of a Kind Hair Bows, but once I was efficient enough to start selling the clothing I made my shop was then rebranded to Sonata Elise™! I think the name fits our line just right don’t you? After all, she is the inspiration behind it all!
